Investigate, Curate, Present: State of the Art Experience at UC Irvine
To raise additional funding for the upcoming MFA curated show, Chiasmus: Zones of Political and Aesthetic Imagination (Jan. 12 – Feb. 11, 2012 at the UAG Gallery), we are holding a raffle of donated MFA candidate work.
All funds raised will contribute to our budget for the catalog, materials, and other miscellaneous expenses associated with putting the show together.
To support us and to buy raffle tickets, please click on the “Donate” button below, where you’ll be directed to Paypal’s secure site where you can make your donation. Raffle tickets are $5 each, so please donate in increments of $5 if you’d like to be included in the raffle. You may preview all the work available for the raffle below.
The raffle will take place on January 5th, and winners will be notified via email. Winners will be asked to choose from the available work, in the order their tickets have been drawn. This also means that depending on the amount of tickets you buy, you could win more than once. Winners will be contacted in the order their ticket is drawn and every time your ticket is drawn, so please continue to check those emails after the raffle!
All art must be picked up from UC Irvine, unless a prior arrangement is made with a curatorial group member to ship or transport the work to you.
If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected]
We sincerely appreciate your generosity and support!

Go out there my friends and do good things. Today, January 20, is the last day of darkness before the sun comes back to us. (Or maybe it’s the 21st)
Tomorrow and henceforth the days grow longer!!! We shall flourish!!!
And we flourish most when we help someone else.
Cheers to the solstice and to the Irvine MFA Raffle.
