Quickly now, what’s happening?
Latned Atsar, “Severed Arrangements” work by Kimberlee Cordova, Alexandria Harris, Brenna Youngblood. I tried for more images and websites, I tried by hook and by crook. Even my often accomplishment filled searches and cruises of html code won’t help me now. You’ll just have to go to Latned Atsar, baby and see the show!!
Latned Atsar, 3222 West Jefferson Blvd, LA, 90018
Iannis Xenakis “Polytope de Persepolis” performed at Los Angeles State Historic Park (more popularly called the Cornfield) in conjunction with the MOCA PDC show Iannis Xenakis: Compose, Architect, Visionary. Saturday, Nov 6 beginning at 6 PM your ear’s will be blasted with complex sound and music and your eyes will glaze from the hundreds of laser beams and choreographed… stuff happening. There are several Xenakis listening opportunities this season in LA. Look for them, right now I’m moving on…
Gotta go back to work now, back after ACP tonight.
I mentioned the opening of “Amir Nikravan: Thresholds” at Rosamund Felsen back in October. I’ve been nowhere near Felsen’s gallery since then and haven’t seen the show. I MUST SEE NIKRAVAN’S SHOW AND SO MUST YOU. If I list the names of the impressive people who’ve recommended I see Nikravan’s work you would be amazed. Indeed I am. “Thresholds” closes on November 13. I’ll see you there.
