One more thing before we leave Chinatown. On Sunday, October 17 the Fellows of Contemporary Art (FOCA) is hosting an exhibition by Andrea Bowers and Daniel Joseph Martinez at the FOCA space in Mandarin Plaza.

Everything is Political” celebrates the 2010 FOCAFellowships Individual Artist Grants. Bowers and Martinez are the recipients of this award and have chosen to collaborate on entirely new work for the exhibition.

A catalog with essay by Lucia Sanroman will be available during the run of the exhibition.

The announcement I received states: Opening cocktail reception with Hors d’oeuvres by Homegirl Cafe and music by Las Cafeteras from 4:30 to 6:30 PM October 17.

I think you better go. The show will be provocative and the party will be great.
